Not Knowing Can Be The Hardest Part

I thought I’d be back this week with a full episode, but instead, I’m sharing a quick check-in. Life over here has been a little extra—we had our first school emergency recently, and while I won’t get into the nitty-gritty details, it was one of those moments that pulled me into “soldier mode.” You know, where you just do what needs to be done and keep it together? But the tricky part is the aftermath—the new specialists, appointments, and uncertainty that come with it.

Sometimes we think we’ve got it all handled, but in reality, we’re just getting by. That’s where I’ve been lately. But I’m thankful for the nudge from my editor to let go and take it easy this week. (Shout out to her for the kind but firm push!)

Now, let me tell you what’s coming next: I’ve been working on episodes about loneliness and grief—two topics that are so intertwined, like peanut butter and jelly. I can’t wait to dive into these with you all! I’ve also been reworking my plans (goodbye post-its, hello fresh ideas), and I want YOUR input. What do you want to hear more of? Any guest suggestions? Or just want to share where you’re at in life? Let me know!

You can text me directly to send your thoughts, questions, or even just a quick hello! It’s completely anonymous so make sure to include your name if you want me to know who you are!

Catch the mini episode here and on your favorite podcast platform!

Thanks for being part of this journey, and I can’t wait to share what’s next!

See you in the next episode,
Kara 😊
