This week on the podcast, I’m back with a quick check-in after taking a little time off to focus on some much-needed self-care. Lately, I’ve been in a long season of juggling medical, emotional, and behavioral needs—not just for my kids, but for myself too.
I hit the pause button on producing a full episode to take some time to breathe and regroup. Honestly, it was hard to step back, but I knew it was necessary. The good news is that I’ve started to feel those little sparks of creativity again, and I’m so excited to be back and creating for you all.
In this mini episode, I share what’s been going on behind the scenes, including my thoughts on taking time for ourselves, even when it feels like there will be an “impact.” Spoiler alert: there will be an impact, but that’s okay. We can’t avoid every ripple, and sometimes taking care of ourselves means accepting that things will shift around us.
I also talk about something that struck me during a recent Peloton ride with Robin Arzon. (Yes, I managed to squeeze in a ride!) She said, “Find your people, and climb your mountains together.” It hit home for me, and I know it’ll resonate with so many of you who are facing tough challenges. We don’t have to do it alone. Find your people. Climb together.
