This week’s podcast episode was a real eye-opener, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you! I had the pleasure of chatting with Jennie Ketchum Crooks, a licensed social worker and anxiety specialist, and we dove into all things anxiety, digital habits, and how the two often go hand-in-hand.
Jennie has a gift for explaining how anxiety isn’t just “the enemy” but something that can actually serve us when we know how to handle it. And our phones? Let’s just say they’re great tools… but sometimes they’re sneaky little traps, keeping us scrolling for hours. 😅 We talked about simple ways to set boundaries with our phones that leave us feeling clearer, calmer, and more connected to real life.
One of my favorite takeaways? Even just five minutes of change—setting the phone down, looking up from the screen—can make a big difference in our peace and how connected we feel to what really matters. It doesn’t have to be complicated or intense—just a little reset here and there.
If you’re curious about better ways to manage anxiety, want a better relationship with your phone, or just need a few laughs (we had plenty!), check out the episode! 🎧
