About Kara
Hey! I'm Kara.
If you know me, you know family is my jam. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it. As a working mom with four kids (one with special needs) and more hospital visits and failed plans under my belt than I can count--life turned out a little differently than I expected.
My Second Son
It was serious, life-threatening, and changed everything. Our lives turned upside down overnight. What I didn’t know then, but quickly learned, was that the journey we were about to take would launch me into a career that would inspire me and bring hope to many.
My son is 12 now and we’re learning together how to enjoy life with his special needs. In fact, our whole family is still figuring out how to love and care for each other well (who isn’t?!). It’s wild and crazy and hard and fun and everything about it has transformed me into who I am today.
Outside of family, life coaching is my next favorite thing. I help women develop confidence as they take hold of the lives they envision for themselves. Moms of kids with special needs are my sweet spot, but life change is my kryptonite. I’m excited you’re here and I can’t wait to walk with you into your future.
